BRIEF: Whether you draft, negotiate or enforce licence agreements, there are lessons to be learnt from recent Australian and overseas licensing-related cases. The talk will cover drafting lessons, the meaning of “exclusive licences”, TM controls and non-use risks, assignment of confidential information, estoppel, non-remediable breaches, unfair contract terms and the ipso facto termination reforms.Time will be made for questions and discussion.
